EU & Japan to Start Free Trade Agreement Negotiations

European Union governments authorized the start of talks with Japan on a free-trade agreement.

    Hey Bogdan, thanks for stopping by our blog – http://www.travel-stained.com – and liking our post on Brazil!

    We live in Seoul and Korea signed a FTA with the EU right before we left on our travels last year. I’m super interested to see how it’s going to affect things there…especially with regards to different products entering Korea’s protectionist market.

      Well, about the protectionist market, after all, many countries are trying to protect their markets and this will not change very soon.

        Korea is pretty extreme though. We have 100% import taxes and even some of the major brands don’t have products in Korea. Of course, that is also part of why Korea grew so fast economically…
