EU & South Korea Urge the FTA Ratification

The European Union (EU) and South Korea are seeking to  urge the ratification of the free trade agreement (FTA) between them. The FTA would remove progressing all tariffs and as many non-tariff barriers between the two economies over three to five years.

China & Taiwan ECFA To be Signed in June

The proposed economic cooperation framework agreement (ECFA) between China and Taiwan could be signed during the first half of June this year confirmed the Taiwanese authorities.

A Trilateral Agreement Between China, South Korea and Japan under Discussion

After the first round of negotiation between South Korea and China on their bilateral FTA, a trilateral agreement to include Japan will also be under discussion.
