Ukraine will hold joint military exercises with U.S. and Britain. In addition to US and UK troops, Rapid Trident 2014 will include units from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Canada, Georgia, Germany, Moldova, Poland, Romania and Ukraine.

Rapid Trident military exercises have been held annually on the territory of Ukraine for a number of years. Ukraine has a partner relationship with NATO but is not officially a member.

The Key Enabling Technologies, or simply KETs – nanotechnology, micro-/nanoelectronics, industrial biotechnology, advanced materials, photonics and advanced manufacturing technologies – represent and exceptional importance for the future innovation and competitiveness of the EU.
 
To assure and improve access to finance for investments in KETs, the European Commission and the European Investment Bank signed a Memorandum of Understanding.

New International Services Trade Agreement (ISA)

 
A group of 20 trading partners – the US, Canada, the European Union, Norway, Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Costa Rica, Israel, Pakistan and Turkey – will start soon negotiations on a new International Services Agreement (ISA).
