ISO Standards for Financial Services

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) published a new standard for the financial services industry – ISO 17442:2012, Financial services – Legal Entity Identifier (LEI).
 
The new standrad provides a global solution to identify the legal entities relevant to any financial transaction.
