* US Against Greater International Internet Regulation 7 August 2012 The US Government expressed its opposition to any proposal that would give regulatory control of the internet to the United Nations (UN), under The International Telecommunications Regulations (ITRs). ———————————————————————————————————————————————– * Canada Looks for Improving its GCS 21 August 2012 The Canadian government is consulting on improving its Global Commerce Strategy (GCS) for 2013 in order to expand and consolidate trade and investment ties with key markets.
