And yet at the UN it is considered to be a third world underdeveloped country, presumably on per capita basis. It seems to be moving to become the world’s currency, which will have substantial implications. Will be interesting to see if the world moves to a a basket, stays with the US $ or ultimately moves to the Yuan.
