Thanks for keeping us up to date. Might I ask who you think these free trade agreements will benefit (and why if you care to go that far).

      Hi,

Thank you for your visit and comment.

I think that the free movement of the goods and persons are important steps to a prosperous future for all.

      Regards!

I think that it is really important for all parties to take a step back and re-consider some of these free trade agreements. Take the EU driven EPA (which I sincerely hope does not go through), why should the European Union which already operates a heavily subsided Agricultural sector even want to enter into Economic Partnership Agreements with African, Caribbean and Pacific nations if not for selfish motives? Those local markets can barely compete and now the EU wants to flood it with heavily subsided materials to further damage the market? I doubt that a prosperous future for both parties is what many parties of a proposes trade agreement are thinking about.

      Hi Anne,

No doubt there is a part of truth there. The free trades between so distinct markets are not fair. On the other hand, a closed market is totally wrong decision.

      You have an impressive blog.

      Best wishes, Bogdan
